HOW WE WORSHIP

Sunday mornings at Ravenswood United Church of Christ are a celebration of God’s love. We gather each week to worship God, to hear the word proclaimed, and to give thanks for the blessings we have received. We sing, we pray, we share the sign of peace, and we praise the one who gave us life and taught us to love. Worship begins at 10:30 am every Sunday morning.

Our worship style is traditionally Protestant, with services that last about an hour. We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of every month and all are welcome at the table Christ sets for us. Children are included in worship through a “Children’s Message” and excused for Sunday School about halfway through the service. Nursery care for infants to five years of age is available for those who seek it, but a crying baby has never made our worship less joyous.
