Renew Ravenswood!

In 2010, our congregation is engaging in a campaign to bring new life and vitality to our church. 
We are calling our campaign "Renew Ravenswood" and will be talking about the ways we celebrate the abundant blessings God has bestowed upon us and how we use those blessings to further God's work in our church and community.

We will improve our church facilities and begin new ministries to make God's Love Visible to all who come to know Ravenswood UCC.  Won't you please join us!

  • by raising our voices in joyful song during worship,
  • by extending a genuine welcome to our visitors,
  • by providing service to our community and,
  • by caring for one another in good times and bad. 

St. Theresa of Avila wrote in the 14th century that, “God has no hands but our hands.” At Ravenswood UCC we take that on as our mission - to be the visible love of God in this time and in this place for all of the children of God.

Our worship is simple and joyful, with organ music that rings of tradition, and preaching that speaks to the issues of today.  Join us this Sunday.  Children and families of all shapes and sizes are welcome.
